Celtic F.C. 23-year-old midfielder Matt O’Riley reveals the names of the players in the team that will contribute mostly for them to win the league title this season
If Celtic beat Hearts on Saturday and then Rangers the following weekend, they will be at least six points ahead of Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership and will likely keep the league trophy in the Parkhead office unless they completely fall apart.
Matt O’Riley said that there are three players at the club who will help “massively” to win the title, even though Celtic is having trouble getting back to the form that helped them win the triple last year.
Three players from Parhead will help Celtic win the title.
The Danish player seemed calm and sure of himself as he talked about being nominated for the PFA Player of the Year Award this week.
O’Riley said that Celtic’s experience in the locker room would help them win the league if they were asked about their chances of winning it.
“Yeah, I think it helps a lot,” O’Riley told Sky Sports. The boys on our team also have a lot of knowledge, which is clear.
“Especially players like James Forrest, Callum McGregor, and Joe Hart; changing these types of players is very helpful.”
James Forrest has really lit up Celtic as the season comes to a close. His two goals against Dundee over the weekend came after a great performance in the Scottish Cup against Aberdeen at Hampden.
Additionally, Callum McGregor, the Celtic leader, has been there and done that. Having won eight league titles already, McGregor is a natural winner and has the drive to get this team to the finish line.
