Joe Hart, the goalie for Celtic, expressed his willingness to contribute to the success of the squad in any way possible. He discussed his choice to take the fifth penalty for the Hoops during the penalty shootout.
In the aftermath of Aberdeen’s fourth missed penalty, Hart was presented with the opportunity to win the game; however, the Englishman failed to capitalize on his opportunity.
In spite of this, the veteran goalie would finally have the last laugh, as he successfully saved Aberdeen’s seventh penalty kick, so ensuring that Celtic would emerge victorious.
Hart is scheduled to retire at the conclusion of the current season; however, he will still have six games remaining to play, including five league games and the final of the Scottish Cup, which will take place on May 25.
In the end, he was the one who came out on top, which resulted in Celtic winning the game.
As a result of his affable demeanor and unwavering commitment to victory, he has established himself as a fan favorite over his three seasons at Celtic.

Big man sounds emotional, he absolutely gets it man. Gonna be a massive miss when he retires!
(And interestingly, seeming he’s been practising pens. The players knew he’d be top 5 takers) pic.twitter.com/9csbaaBm1o
