Celtic Fc goalkeeper Joe Hart has officially announce his decision to retire from football as Chris Sutton sends a Crucial message to the 36 years-old player
Celtic goalie Joe Hart has decided to stop playing professional football at the end of the season. This will be the end of a career that saw him win many trophies.
The 36-year-old joined at Parkhead in 2021 and has been a key player for the Hoops ever since, winning two Scottish Premierships, two Scottish League Cups, and one Scottish Cup.
He still has the chance to score more goals this season, as Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic team continues to try to win the home double.
Hart has played 138 times for Celtic so far and kept 59 clean saves [Transfermarkt]. He has played for England 75 times.
The experienced player, who was born in Shrewsbury, won the Premier League three times early in his career with Manchester City and became a symbol of the team’s rise to fame in English football.
During the same season, he also won the Golden Glove award four times, which is a record. This is given to the goalie who keeps the most clean sheets.
Some of the other places he has played are with Torino, West Ham United, Burnley, and Tottenham Hotspur.
But he will end his career at Parkhead, where he has built an unbreakable bond with fans because he cares so much about the team.
Brendan Rodgers responds to what Celtic goalie Joe Hart did.
Sad to see Joe Hart retiring at the end of the season. He’s had a brilliant career. Top goalkeeper, top guy👏👏

Rodgers responded right away to Hart’s choice to retire when he talked to official Celtic channels.
“Joe has had a great career, and I know the game will be much worse without him when he finally stops playing in the summer,” the Irishman said.
Joe gets a lot of praise and congratulations for everything he has done in football. He has been a great asset to Celtic and the game at the highest levels, both in Scotland and around the world.
“But more than that, he is a great person and a pleasure to work with. I know he has been a great teammate to many people over the course of his career, and as a player, he always gives his all.” Every day, the way he works is an example for everyone in sports.
He then said, “He will be missed on the field, but I know he will stay in football in some way.” No matter what he does after the summer, it will always be a part of his life, and I’m sure everyone at the club wishes him the best of luck.
“I totally get why Joe made this announcement and applaud him for being honest with the club and our fans about his plans.
I am sure that he will work hard all season long with the same dedication, commitment, and drive that he is known for.
Hart has had a great career. He is now preparing for the last few months of his playing career before he can look back on all the great things he has done.
Nobody at Celtic will be the same without him, and whoever takes over in goal will have big shoes to fill.
Chris Sutton drops his thoughts on Joe Hart’s exit.
Chris Sutton, who used to play for Celtic, responded to Hart’s retirement by praising him on a “brilliant career” as he nears the end of his playing days.
The 50-year-old baseball player also talked about how his contagious personality has helped him build an unbreakable bond with the Celtic fans.
Hart has always been passionate between the sticks and has brought much-needed security to the team since he started working for Ange Postecoglou.
Congratulations on a great career! Let’s hope Hart’s leadership continues to shine through in the last few weeks of the campaign.
