Celtic FC new goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel sends out a strong message to fans after Celtic defeat Chelsea (4-1) in the pre-season friendly match

After the 4-1 win over Chelsea, Kasper Schmeichel sent a word to the Celtic fans. The tour of the USA for the pre-season was over.

The Danish star was great for 73 minutes on the field, and Celtic fans went crazy because he looked so at ease in his Celtic jersey in Indiana.

Celtic had a great pre-season tour, where they made news on the field and made new friends off it. The 4-1 win over Enzo Maresca’s team was the cherry on top.

Celtic is set to make a lot of money from their exploits across The Pond. However, the club has also stayed close to its roots by making some great donations to local charities.

This time, though, Schmeichel is thinking about the fans. After Celtic’s win over Chelsea in the last game of the pre-season tour, he pays respect to the fans.

Schmeichel thanks the Celtic fans.
Even though Kasper Schmeichel has only been with Celtic for a little over 10 days, the fans already love him.

He also sent a message to his friends on Instagram after the win over Chelsea:

Schmeichel, who is 37 years old, still looked very quick and aware as he made some great saves in the first half to keep Chelsea at bay.

Now that they’re ready to play in the Scottish Premiership, Rodgers has done a great job replacing Joe Hart.

What Matt O’Riley has to say about his Celtic and Denmark friend
Last night, Matt O’Riley was another great player for Celtic. The Danish player replied to Schmeichel’s post with a simple emoji to show how he felt about how he played against Chelsea.

As a result of his great play against The Blues, O’Riley scored another goal and set up another one on the tour.

This summer, there was a lot of talk about moving the Celtic midfielder, and O’Riley told any possible suitors why the Parkhead club is being so tough on their star player.

Celtic will now be getting ready for their Flag Day match against Kilmarnock next Sunday. Now that the preseason tour is over, Brendan Rodgers will be looking for a winning start to the defense of the Scottish Premiership title.
