Celtic have reached a decision regarding the future of striker Johnny Kenny

Celtic are expected to consider offers for striker Johnny Kenny this summer as part of a wider squad overhaul.

The Hoops were forced to keep hold of Kenny earlier in the season following Adam Idah’s departure without a replacement. The 22-year-old featured regularly, scoring six goals in 22 appearances, but struggled with consistency in front of goal despite the team creating plenty of chances.

Kenny is currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers, where he has made an immediate impact with four goal contributions in his first six matches. Over the weekend, he came off the bench to provide two assists and help Bolton recover from a two-goal deficit to earn a point in their push for promotion to the EFL Championship.

With Celtic planning major changes ahead of the new season, reports from Pete O’Rourke suggest the club could be open to selling Kenny once he returns from his loan spell, especially with uncertainty still surrounding the club’s managerial situation.
