Celtic hero Daizen Maeda has extended a warm greeting to another fellow countryman, Hayato Inamura, who completed his transfer to Glasgow last night.

He has now met his fifth Japanese teammate, having previously shared the pitch with Reo Hatate, Kyogo Furuhashi, Tomoki Iwata, and Yuki Kobayashi.

 

 


 

After departing his previous club, Albirex Niigata, to embark on his inaugural European experience, Inamura, 23, signed a four-year contract with the Scottish champions. Celts are believed to have paid approximately £250,000 to acquire him. Less than two hours after being unveiled by the Hoops, he was present at the City

Maeda, 28, was absent, however, as he was granted an extended vacation subsequent to his international accomplishments, as were several of his teammates. He shared it on his Instagram story, stating, “Dear Niigata!!! He is in good health.The defender stated, “This club has produced numerous successful Japanese players.”
