Celtic takes to social media and brutally mock Rangers over recent success

The Scottish Premiership championship was awarded to Celtic on trophy day, and the club is currently in the midst of celebrate.

James Forrest’s spectacular equaliser propelled the Hoops to a 1-1 draw in the final league encounter of the season, which they played against St. Mirren. The Hoops put in a second gear performance and were able to draw the match.

In spite of the fact that the Bhoys only managed to garner one point from the match, Forrest scored for the sixteenth season in a row for the team, making it a fairytale ending.

In addition, Celtic earned a point against Rangers at Ibrox not so long ago, and fans will remember that the 2,000 Hoops supporters that were inside the stadium were in a jubilant mood.

During the moment that both teams went onto the pitch, they made fun of the Rangers by performing their walk-out anthem, which was Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’.

Furthermore, Celtic have now returned to that banter on social media platform X with a wonderful bit of trolling intended to mock them.

Rangers have posted a fantastic troll that says they are just the finest.

Celtic takes to social media and brutally mock Rangers over recent success
Celtic published a humorous video on their social media account at approximately a quarter to three in the afternoon. The video showed the social media administrator deciding what to type on X after the trophy was successfully presented.

The phrase “World’s Most Successful…” was initially written by them, but they later deleted it and tried something else instead.

That something else was “Simply the best,” and while the words were being typed up, a clip of the song could be heard, followed by the erasure of that as well.

After some deliberation, the club decided to use the caption “Just another day in Paradise” along with emojis of a trophy and a green clover together.

What Ally McCoist thought about the ending of the Celtic fans’ game at Ibrox

Immediately following Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Rangers at the beginning of May, Ally McCoist gave his thoughts on the troll that was being perpetrated by Celtic supporters on talkSPORT.

Shebahn Aherne, the host of talkSPORT, posed the following question to him in real time: “You are the voice of Rangers, that is absolutely fair to say.” He is the undisputed king of the club.

You give voice to and represent a large number of admirers. As the players emerge from the tunnel, they are walking out to the tune of “The Best,” and the 2,000 Celtic fans are virtually competing with the Rangers fans in terms of their volume of singing.

This is due to the fact that they have not been the best throughout the course of the past several seasons, are they Ally?

To be fair to McCoist, he recognised the humorous side of the situation and reacted, “I think it’s brilliant, I think it’s hilarious.” He did not take the huff on the situation.

There is not the slightest bit of a problem with it at all, and I thought it was an absolutely great way to wrap things off.
