Celtic target Mathias Kvistgaarden has addressed the transfer speculation regarding his potential departure from Brøndby in his native country.

The adaptable forward from Denmark, capable of playing both as a striker and on the flanks, has been the subject of significant speculation regarding
potential transfers to several clubs this month, including the team managed by Brendan Rodgers. In addressing three key points in his home country regarding the importance of sustaining focus amidst external distractions and conjecture, the 22-year-old stated,
“Indeed, I believe I am capable of doing so.” Certainly, there exists a plethora of literature and audio resources available for consumption; however, I endeavour to minimise my engagement with such materials and instead focus my attention on daily training here at Brøndby.
The currently high-performing Denmark U21 forward has participated in 22 matches across all competitions for Brøndby this season, netting 14 goals and providing five assists.
Celtic is actively seeking to acquire an additional striker following Kyogo’s arrival in France to finalise a £10 million transfer to Rennes from the Scottish champions. Rodgers currently possesses Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny in his squad, in addition to Daizen Maeda; however, he is eager to enhance his attacking options during this transfer window, should the opportunity arise.
The club is nearing the completion of a remarkable re-acquisition of left-winger Jota, who departed from the organisation in the summer of 2023 to join Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League. He departed from the Middle Eastern club last summer to join Rennes, the new suitors of Kyogo, where he has already experienced a decline in favour after merely six months at the Ligue 1 club.
Celtic is currently engaged in discussions with Arsenal regarding the potential return of academy alumnus Kieran Tierney, whose contract is scheduled to conclude at the conclusion of the present season. Tierney departed for North London in 2019 and has since dedicated nearly six years to the Premier League club.
