When Celtic and Aberdeen tied, it was a great chance for Rangers to close the gap on the top two teams.

Rangers were six points behind Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table before today’s away game at Kilmarnock. The champions had a huge goal difference lead of +13 over Rangers.Kilmarnock’s game against Derek McInnes’s failing team was a great chance to close the gap to just three points. However, Kilmarnock lost 1-0 at Rugby Park, and Chris Sutton criticized the Ibrox club for missing the chance to get back into the title race.

He says Kilmarnock is “superbly organized” and that Celtic “widen the gap” to Rangers.

As usual, Sutton didn’t miss a beat when he took to social media to talk about how he felt right away after Rangers lost to Kilmarnock.

Sutton told them, “Rangers were really killed.” Kilmarnock did a great job. A show that was very well planned and followed the rules. The gap at the top gets bigger thanks to Celtic and Aberdeen…

Rangers’ next three Scottish Premiership games vs. Celtic’s
As was already said, Celtic’s next three games are all tough. Next Sunday, they go on the road to play Motherwell, and on October 30, Dundee comes to Celtic Park for a 7:45pm start.

After that, there will be another international break. When the season starts up again, on November 10, Derek McInnes will bring his Kilmarnock team to Celtic Park.

Rangers, on the other hand, have to deal with high-flying St. Mirren at Ibrox next weekend, and then they have to go to Pittodrie and play Jimmy Thelin’s very good Aberdeen team before the international break.

After going to Aberdeen, Rangers have to go on the road again to play Motherwell, who are riding high in the top six.

If Rangers lose any more league points in any of these three games, Aberdeen will likely be Celtic’s main title rival this season.
