Chris Sutton shares his thoughts over Nottingham Forest brutal sack of former Celtic Legend Ange Postecoglou

Chris Sutton has shared his thoughts on Ange Postecoglou’s dismissal from Nottingham Forest.

The former Celtic Treble-winning boss was sacked by owner Evangelos Marinakis just 18 minutes after Forest’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea. Despite being the stronger side in the first half, Forest failed to convert their chances, and Chelsea punished them with three goals after the break to take all three points — a result that ultimately cost Postecoglou his job at The City Ground.

Appointed in September as Nuno Espirito Santo’s replacement, Postecoglou’s tenure lasted only 39 days, during which he failed to win any of his eight games in charge.

Former Celtic striker and Sky Sports pundit Chris Sutton, a long-time defender of Postecoglou, once again backed him in his latest post on X (formerly Twitter), writing simply:

“Ange better off out of Forest… what chance did he have?”
