“Condemning” – The South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley sent a brutal message About Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese foul Controversy
“At last week’s WNBA game, Caitlin fouled Angel, and then it looked like Angel kind of confronted her afterward,” said the host. Later, she got a lot of racist and nasty comments online. Shortly after, the WNBA released a statement strongly rejecting all kinds of racism and discrimination. What do you think about all the fuss that’s been made about it?”
It was clear what Staley meant.
“What I make of it is, we need to take the lead of Caitlin and we need to take the lead of Angel,” said her. “They are over it now.” It is finished, they said. This is basketball. It’s time to move on.'”
Staley told everyone to move on like the players had, then he said, “But you can find the answers in my book, ‘Uncommon Favour.'”
That’s Staley on tour pushing her brand-new book, which is already getting great reviews. In addition, she was a guest on “Good Morning America,” where she talked about how important it is to put her players first.
She says in her book, “I can’t ask them to stand up for themselves if I’m sitting down.” This shows how much she wants to help them. If I only want to whisper, I can’t tell them to use their words to make a difference.
