It is a remarkable experience to score for the national squad. The national team is the love of my life, and it would be a dream come true if we were to win the European cup.

“When it comes to me, being a member of the national team is a love and a passion. This will be my sixth European Championship, which is also a record. Any game is great, but a European Championship is especially memorable. From the time I made my debut in 2004, when I was playing, until the present day, the feeling that I have is always one of pride and passion. This is the best that can possibly be said about it.

On Tuesday, June 18, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will kick off their campaign for the European Championship in 2024 by playing against the Czech Republic. Following that, they will play Turkey and Georgia in the remaining group stage fixtures.
