Cristiano Ronaldo is recognised as an exemplary ambassador with the Platinum Quinas Award.Cristiano Ronaldo, a football superstar, was presented with the esteemed Platinum Quinas trophy at the Quinas de Ouro gala last night.
The trophy was given to him in recognition of his exceptional service as an ambassador for Portugal, which he has achieved with over 200 matches for the senior national team.
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) hosted the ceremony in partnership with the Professional Football Players’ Union (SJPF) and the National Association of Football Coaches (ANTF).
Prime Minister Luís Montenegro and FPF President Fernando Gomes were in attendance, and Gomes emphasised the national team captain as an exceptional ambassador for Portugal. “The Platinum Quinas is the most prestigious trophy of the FPF, and Cristiano Ronaldo is unquestionably the most deserving ambassador for Portugal.
” He has devoted more than two decades to the Portuguese national team. Cristiano Ronaldo is the individual who has most exemplified a passion for representing Portugal. “An exemplary ambassador who embodies Portugal and feels the jersey,” Gomes observed at the Cultural Centre of Belém in Lisbon.
The 39-year-old forward for Saudi club Al Nassr addressed the audience, recounting his journey from earning his first cap at the age of 18 to surpassing the 200-appearance milestone. “It is a privilege to be awarded this trophy.
