Crystal Palace 2-0 Newcastle United F.C player ratings – as the defeat saddens team in general

Crystal Palace had 20 chances to score against Newcastle United at Selhurst Park, and they easily could have won by a bigger margin.

Newcastle had to defend in the first quarter of this midweek match in the capital, as Palace asked all the early questions at Selhurst Park. Before the half-hour mark, Newcastle had their best chance. Bruno Guimaraes whipped a beautiful ball into the path of Alexander Isak, but Dean Henderson rushed out to stop him.

However, Palace missed a few chances in the first half. However, Jean-Philippe Mateta scored two goals to help Palace take the lead. Even though Newcastle had a few shots on goal, Palace had more chances to score.

He was completely open and angry with his defense as they fell to the ground.

Jacob Murphy 4

It was a rough night, and Howe quickly made a change for the second half. Murphy ran off before the middle of the second half. Had a hard time with the dual jobs and couldn’t pull off a cross.

Emil Krafth 4

Not able to handle Palace’s fast attack. a gift of space to help Palace take the lead.

Fabian Schar 6

Got off to a pretty good start with a couple of good hits. Getting slippery after the break. And got angry with Andersen.

Burn, Dan 6

They played well in the first half, but they had a hard time after the break.

Elliot Anderson 7
This artist was one of the best that night. Didn’t look happy with his teammates as Palace found holes in their defense.

Had a penalty claim after going over in the box. Started out well but died out before it could be taken off.

Several good moves in the first half. After the break, when Newcastle needed something, he couldn’t give it to them.
