Cooper Flagg just recently ended his first year of collegiate basketball with the Duke Blue Devils, completing what is considered to be one of the most successful seasons ever for a first-year player in the history of college basketball.

As the top overall recruit, Flagg made his commitment to Duke, and it is possible that he accomplished more than anyone anticipated as a rookie.

After winning the ACC Tournament, he guided the Blue Devils to the top spot in the NCAA Tournament, where they were ranked as the top seed. In the end, Duke finished the season with a record of 35-4 across the board.

Following the conclusion of the season, Flagg stated his intention to participate in the NBA Draft, where he is widely considered to be the top overall choice.

Flagg has a good possibility of playing alongside numerous former Duke Blue Devils, including Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II, because the Dallas Mavericks have the first choice in the NBA Draft. This means that Flagg might be playing alongside these players.

Irving recently made a video of himself commenting on Flagg, and in it, the Mavericks player stated that he had a connection with the Duke star. The video was uploaded to the internet.

“We definitely are connected; he’s a Duke Blue Devil,” Irving stated in his interview. I am confident that he is able to handle the pressure, and I am looking forward to witnessing a fantastic season not only from him, but also from a large number of players who are representing the country on a national and international level. Your future lies in your hands.

“Kai has faith in Cooper Flagg,” the official social media account of the NBA Future Now said in that post.

After the tweet was made public, a number of fans rushed to various social media platforms to express their opinions over the message that Kyrie Irving had sent to Cooper Flagg prior to the NBA Draft.

“Ready for the next level,” remarked one of the many fans.

“I have faith in you,” stated a different supporter.

A supporter made the observation that Dallas is going to be a significant challenge whenever he returns.

In his first year at Duke, Cooper Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. He also had a solid defensive performance. After leading the Blue Devils in all five major statistical categories, he also led the team in steals and blocks, averaging 1.4 and 1.4 per game, respectively.

It was ultimately determined that Flagg was the recipient of the Wooden Award, the Associated Press Player of the Year, and the Naismith National Player of the Year.
