Danny Rohl Responds to Rangers Fans Booing Players vs Livingston

Rangers supporters booed their team off at halftime during Saturday’s match against Livingston at Ibrox. Despite the tense first half, the Bears managed to hold on as Rangers secured a 2-1 victory, extending their winning streak in the Scottish Premiership. A controversial moment saw Emmanuel Fernandez avoid conceding a penalty after the ball struck his hand in the box, but Rangers managed to maintain their lead.

The win marks a four-game streak for Rangers in the league, increasing pressure on Celtic and Hearts, who are just ahead in the standings. Several Rangers players faced criticism for their performances, and it was evident at halftime that fans were displeased with the team’s overall display. Although Fernandez opened the scoring in the first half, Tete Yengi’s equaliser prompted visible frustration among the Ibrox crowd.

After the match, manager Danny Rohl shared his thoughts on the situation. Speaking to Sky Sports, he acknowledged the fans’ disappointment but emphasised the importance of keeping a level head.

Rohl said:
“I can understand this; when we play against teams near the bottom of the table, everyone wants more goals and exciting football. My mind is very clear—I know what I need to give my players. I’m not emotional at halftime; it’s about giving them a solution.”
