Diogo Jota without shame reveals the name of the Manchester City player his scared to play againt on the pitch with
During his time in England, Diogo Jota has played many times against Manchester City.
In fact, the player has played nine Premier League games against City and has won two, tied five, and lost two.
This is the first game of the 2024–25 season, and the Portuguese player could face the Blues again in the league when Liverpool plays City at Anfield in November and at the Etihad Stadium in February.
As of now, though, Jota has talked about one City player he thinks will be very important for Pep Guardiola’s team this season.
Diogo Jota says that Erling Haaland scares him.
In a recent short video posted on the Goal YouTube channel, Jota was in a word association task. He had to say one word that best describes a certain player or choose the word that best describes that player.
Someone asked Erling Haaland to describe himself in one word, and he chose “scary.”
Haaland is a very dangerous player.
Haaland joined City in the summer of 2022 in a deal worth £51 million. He had scored 86 goals in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund.
This Norwegian player has scored 90 goals in 99 games for the Citizens since then, helping them win many awards.
While this shows how scary Haaland is for defenders and goalkeepers on the other team, it’s interesting that Jota has talked about how scared he is of the striker.
Micah Richards recently said that City’s chances of winning the title rely on how healthy the 24-year-old stays all season.
Going forward, everyone at City will definitely be hoping that Haaland can scare as many opponents as possible this season and lead the team to more titles.
