“DONE DEAL” – Adam Idah move to Celtic is officially confirmed as Knapper sends out transfer message

Yesterday, Celtic finally finished Adam Idah’s move from Norwich City. The big news came from the club yesterday.

Idah was agreed upon by both teams to be bought for £9.5 million. This will be one of Celtic’s most expensive transfers ever.

This Republic of Ireland player was a huge hit during his short loan at Celtic last season. He helped Brendan Rodgers’ team win both the league title and the Scottish Cup.

Now that Rodgers has finally got his man and Celtic has paid a very good price for the player, Norwich City’s sports director, Ben Knapper, has talked about the deal.

Adam Idah’s “great opportunity” at Celtic: Norwich waited for the best deal this summer, and now that it’s official, Knapper has called the move a “great opportunity” for Adam Idah.

Knapper of Norwich City FC said, “We wish Adam the best as he leaves.” At Celtic, he has a great chance to keep getting better.

Adam went from playing on the youth team to the adult squad and then to becoming a full international player for the Republic of Ireland. The academy staff is very proud of his progress.

“A lot of people here helped him along the way, and he and everyone else should be very proud of that.”

“Everyone at Norwich City hopes the best for Adam in the future.”

Celtic must now focus on other players they want to sign.

Brendan Rodgers can now focus on making other parts of the team stronger now that this long-running transfer drama is over.

One could say that Celtic still needs another striker as a third-choice growth player. They also need to sign a left back, another winger, another central defender, and a good midfielder in case Matt O’Riley leaves this summer.

There is still a lot of work to be done before the transfer window ends at the start of September. The Celtic board should be praised for getting the Idah deal done.
