As far as the NCAA transfer portal is concerned, Sherrone Moore and the Michigan Wolverines had a very busy summer. The modern world of college football is characterised by a constant influx and departure of players, which can make it challenging to construct a team that is capable of competing for a championship and maintaining that level of success.

During the offseason, cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows was one of the players that made the decision to stop playing for the Michigan football program.

The information provided by 247 Sports indicates that McBurrows was initially a three-star recruit in the 2021 class who was coming out of Fort Lauderdale. His overall position in the class was ranked as the 43rd best cornerback, he was ranked as the 555th best player in the country, and he was ranked as the 78th best recruit from the state of Florida.

During his three years with the Wolverines, McBurrows was never able to find out a means to earn consistent playing time. He was never able to get playing time.

McBurrows made the decision to enter the transfer portal because he was not providing himself with a constant role. As of right now, he has made the decision that will determine where he will play the next chapter of his career.

Transfer Portal on X, as reported by Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, has reported that McBurrows will be transferring to Appalachian State to further his athletic career.

This is not a significant loss for Michigan in any way. It’s little more than the conclusion of a tenure that was replete with “what-ifs.”

There were a total of 19 games that McBurrows participated in during his time with the Wolverines, which spanned three years. A total of thirteen tackles, one interception, and two passes that he defended were accumulated by him.

Now, he will attempt to launch his professional career at Appalachian State University. What happens in the following stage of his professional life will be an intriguing thing to see unfold.
