Done deal: ‘Here we go’ – Celtic player Matt O’Riley will sign for Brighton and Hove Albion this summer as Fabrizio Romano confirms his transfer move

Matt O’Riley, a midfielder for Celtic, will join Brighton and Hove Albion after the move was called a “done deal” by a transfer writer on Friday night.

Officially, neither team has said anything about the move yet, but Romano’s history of completing deals when he says “here we go” is well known to fans all over the world.

Brendan Rodgers said earlier on Friday that O’Riley would be in his team for Sunday’s game at St. Mirren, but this new development makes that seem less likely.

Romano says that deals have been made because Brighton will be making another big signing this summer.

Celtic is going to get a high price for Matt O’Riley.
The story says that Celtic will get £25 million up front, and that amount will go up to £30 million with add-ons. This would be the highest transfer fee ever paid in Scotland.

That’s a lot of money for the Boyz, and a lot of it needs to be put back into the team in the last week of the trade window.

It is clear that O’Riley was a great choice for Celtic.
O’Riley joined Celtic from MK Dons for just £1.5 million and went on to play 124 times, hitting 27 goals and setting up 35 others.

He has won six trophies and is now making the club a huge profit. He was one of the best moves the Bhoys have ever made.

Fans really liked how he played middle; it was beautiful and graceful, and many fans will be sad to see him leave this summer.

It’s time for Celtic to make moves.

The Bhoys haven’t needed extra money to close deals this summer, but the loss of last season’s best player puts pressure on the recruiting staff to find a good replacement.

Arne Engels and Mateusz Bogusz have been mentioned the most recently as Rodgers looks to add quality players to help the team move forward now that O’Riley has left.

In the last week of the window, you need to do a lot of good business. We need more than just midfielders right now. We also need a left back and a center defender. Don’t waste any time.
