Done Deal – Manchester United have agreed drastic £173,000 a week to sign the sensational player this summer
There were six years that Manchester United did not win a single prize before they hired the Dutch coach Erik ten Hag.
The player who used to play for Ajax won the League Cup in his first season, lost the FA Cup final, and got us back into the UEFA Champions League.

However, we had terrible league and cup seasons in the second half, but Ten Hag won an even bigger prize than in his first season.
In the final, his team beat the winners, Manchester City, and won the FA Cup.
As a surprise, the new people in charge at Manchester United have chosen to reward him by only giving him a year’s extra pay and extending his contract.
“Man Utd have agreed to a one-year deal that will make Ten Hag earn £173,000 a week, or £9 million a season,” says The Mirror.
This choice shows two things. First, Ratcliffe didn’t really want the boss to stay, but the FA Cup win made him change his mind.
Second, INEOS doesn’t think Ten Hag’s work is worth a pay raise, and the fact that his contract was only renewed for one year makes it seem like he is still on probation.
So the question is how can a coach do his best work when he doesn’t have the full support of the management?
