Former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo is unable to participate in the competition

due to a health scare that his partner has experienced. In the week that Cristiano Ronaldo’s companion, Georgina Rodriguez, was hospitalized with pneumonia, Al Nassr lost two points to Al Kholood. Rodriguez, 30, and Ronaldo, 39, have been in a relationship since 2016. In a video posted to his YouTube channel this summer, the former Manchester United player addressed her as his wife. They reside in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she is currently recuperating at home following her treatment at the Saudi German Hospital. Rodriguez acknowledged the delay upon her release on Friday, just hours before Ronaldo’s team played their most recent match in the Saudi Pro League. I am extremely appreciative of the exceptional care that the personnel, doctors, nurses, and all other members of the hospital provided for me. I am grateful to each of you for an exceptional visit. A photo that Rodriguez captured depicts a pink plastic hospital wristband that is still on her left arm and a cannula in her left arm. The caption is accompanying the image. She posted a mirror selfie of her and Ronaldo posing outside in front of a palm tree on her Instagram story over the weekend.

This occurred hours after her partner was excluded from the Al Nassr roster for their 3-3 away draw with Al Kholood. Myziane Maolida, a former Nice forward, scored the opening goal for the hosts north of Riyadh. However, Aymeric Laporte responded minutes later. The visitors took the lead after Talisca, but Maolida equalized before the half-hour mark. Jackson Muleka, a loanee from Besiktas, restored Al Kholood’s lead midway through the second half, after the scores had remained equal. They were mere minutes away from achieving their second league victory of the season; however, Al-Nassr was awarded a penalty in the 95th minute, which Talisca converted in Ronaldo’s absence. The team is still six points behind league leaders Al Hilal, who have won all eight of their first eight league games, despite avoiding defeat.
