“Earlier today i receive” – United States of America Donald Trump reveals the letter that was sent to him by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy over the negotiation peace

According to US President Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted a letter to him in which he has agreed to “come to the negotiating table” in order to negotiate a peace agreement in Ukraine.

“I am grateful that he sent this letter,” Trump stated during his address to a joint session of Congress in Washington.

It occurred subsequent to Zelensky’s declaration in a social media post that he was prepared to collaborate with Trump’s “strong leadership” in order to establish a sustainable peace.

Following their heated encounter in the Oval Office last week, the statements suggest that tensions between the leaders have diminished.

During his address to Congress, Trump declared that he had received a “important letter” from Zelensky on Tuesday. He proceeded to read excerpts from the letter.

Parts of the text that he read contained language that was identical to that of the statement that Zelensky had posted earlier on Tuesday.

“The letter indicates that Ukraine is prepared to expedite the process of negotiating in order to achieve a lasting peace.” Trump stated, “The Ukrainians are the ones who desire peace the most.”

Trump continued to read from what he claimed was Zelensky’s letter, stating, “My team and I are prepared to collaborate under President Trump’s steadfast leadership in order to achieve a lasting peace.”

Additionally, Trump stated that Zelensky informed him that he was prepared to execute a rare earth minerals agreement with the United States.

As of yet, Ukraine has not responded to the letter.

Additionally, the United States president stated that “serious discussions” had taken place with Russia, and that he had “received strong signals that they are prepared for peace.”

It was unclear whether Trump was intimately involved in the negotiations or when they occurred.

In response to the United States’ decision to suspend military assistance to Ukraine, Zelensky termed the White House confrontation with Trump “regrettable” earlier on Tuesday.

After Trump accused him of not being prepared to enter the negotiating process, Zelensky stated, “It was time to rectify the situation.”

Additionally, the Ukrainian commander delineated the initial phases of the war’s resolution.

The Oval Office meeting between Zelensky and US officials last week was scheduled to conclude with the signing of an agreement that would provide the US with access to rare earth minerals in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian delegation departed without signing the agreement following the confrontation, during which Trump accused Zelensky of “gambling with World War Three.” Trump instructed Zelensky to return when he was prepared for peace.

“It is time to conclude this absurd conflict.” He further stated, “In order to resolve conflicts, it is imperative to engage in dialogue with all disputants.”
