Eddie Howe discloses Newcastle United’s interest in a £70 million player, describing him as “very good.”
Newcastle United’s transfer target during the summer was not limited to Marc Guehi, as Eddie Howe emphasized.
In August, the Magpies made numerous attempts to acquire Guehi from Crystal Palace; however, they were unsuccessful in their efforts to negotiate a deal with their Premier League adversaries, who were demanding a fee of upwards of £70 million for the England international.
Newcastle maintains an interest in the 24-year-old, who will be out of contract in the summer of 2026.
