The 21-year-old has not featured much since his £10million acquisition from Sheffield United, with Will Osula only starting in the cup against AFC Wimbledon and Bromley.Newcastle expresses satisfaction with Osula’s development, and there is undoubtedly significant potential evident. He has demonstrated glimpses of his potential, while Osula’s inaugural goal for Newcastle was exceptional.

However, he is not adequately prepared to assume a leading role in the Premier League, and an additional concern is that he is contending with the most proficient striker currently in form. It is highly improbable that he will ever assume a position ahead of Alexander Isak in the lineup. Eddie Howe comments on Will Osula’s present circumstances at Newcastle United.

The manager of Newcastle United believes that Osula will derive greater benefits from training in Tyneside. When evaluating his performance as a striker, he is vying for a position alongside Alex Isak, a situation that may not be particularly advantageous given Alex’s current form. “I conveyed this to Will upon his arrival.

” He is currently learning from two of the most proficient strikers available to him, and it is imperative that he assimilates as much knowledge as possible from both Alex and Callum Wilson. Two exemplary role models to assist him in his personal development. “He is presently very much in attendance.” In the forthcoming season, we will endeavour to pursue the subsequent measures that will be advantageous for both Will and ourselves.

Newcastle United currently lacks sufficient alternatives in the wide positions. In the wake of Miguel Almiron’s transfer to Atlanta United, Newcastle United finds itself lacking in players capable of performing effectively in wide positions. At the senior level, Anthony Gordon and Jacob Murphy represent the sole available options for Howe.

Although Joelinton is capable of playing in that position, his presence is essential in a central role, particularly in light of Harvey Barnes’ injury. At the junior level, Newcastle possesses Trevan Sanusi; however, it would be a considerable challenge for the 17-year-old to transition to a higher level of competition. Consequently, deploying Osula in that context may represent a favourable alternative.

This development affords him increased opportunities to participate in the Premier League, while simultaneously providing Newcastle with enhanced depth in a position where it is critically needed. Nevertheless, Howe will undoubtedly refrain from hastily placing Osula in that role.

There may be occasional brief appearances in a match where Newcastle maintains dominance; however, that could represent the pinnacle of the experience. Notwithstanding, Howe has a preference for players who exhibit versatility, and the potential of Osula to embody this quality will undoubtedly enhance his value.
