Eddie Howe verdict on Newcastle United F.C defeat vs Crystal Palace
Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, wants his team to get back to winning quickly after losing to Crystal Palace.
Edgar Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, wants his team to “learn lessons” from Wednesday night’s 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
After the loss at Selhurst Park, Howe made it very clear to his players that it was not okay. The manager of Newcastle will now try to get back on track against Sheffield United.
Howe said before the game with the Blades, “We must learn and take in all the lessons from Wednesday.” Every game is really hard. We need to make sure we have the right mindset going into the game and then let our players show themselves in the right way.
“We need to have a strong end to the season.” We have no doubts that these games are very important to us. We have some tough games left, but we’re looking forward to the last five.
After Man United beat Sheff United, Newcastle dropped from sixth to seventh, which was a big loss when they lost in the city. Howe admitted that he was wrong when his plan to stick with a five-man defense didn’t work.
When asked about the loss, Howe said, “We were disappointing, and we own that.” We missed having those tough traits that we need, which has happened too often when we’ve been away from home. “We need to do better.”
Howe is likely to pick the same team that played at Palace on Wednesday, since injuries are still a big problem on Tyneside. However, the Newcastle manager did give a report on some key players who are currently out. Joelinton, Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope, and Miguel Almiron are all on the right track.
