English association football manager Teddy Sheringham reveals when Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag will be sacked this year

Former three-time Premier League winner Teddy Sheringham has criticized Erik ten Hag’s job as manager and says he will be fired by Christmas.

Even though Ten Hag had a good first season, many fans were sick of his excuses and wild style of football after finishing eighth in the league and having a terrible time in the Champions League.

The surprise FA Cup win kept him in his job over the summer, but two losses in a row have put the pressure back on the former Ajax boss.

A 0–3 loss at home to Liverpool has ruined a lot of the good mood that was left over from the FA Cup final, and people close to the club believe that Ten Hag will lose his job if things don’t start to change soon.

After the fact, Teddy Sheringham, a former United striker, spoke out against the boss and made a very bad case for him.

From The Sun and The Mirror, the former England player said at a Ladbrokes event, “when you finish eighth in the Premier League, that’s clearly not good enough for Man United.”

“End of sentence.” That’s the end of the story for me. “You need to make things different.”

“If you look at how inconsistent they were last season and how they’ve been so far this season in the first three games, you can see that nothing has changed whatever.”

Sheringham did say that there are new players, but that hasn’t changed his mind about anything.

Even though the triple winner said he didn’t like it when people lost their jobs, it was very clear what he thought about Ten Hag’s future.

People shouldn’t be in certain places, but he shouldn’t be there. It’s not nice to say that. Man United doesn’t like it. They’ve fallen far below what was expected, and they shouldn’t think it’s okay to come in eighth.

“Do I think the manager will be there at the end of the season?” Sheringham asked. In response, the manager was fired. I don’t, no. He should be gone by Christmas, I think.

The former Tottenham scorer also said that the players that United is signing aren’t the right ones to take the club to the next level, even though they may be good players.

He was upset that United wasn’t in the running for Harry Kane or Declan Rice, and he said Ten Hag made a mistake by signing Matthijs de Ligt.

“They keep signing players like Matthias de Ligt: ‘Okay, he might be a nice player, but they already have Harry Maguire, who can do a very similar job.'” I mean, what are you doing? What do you want to buy?”
