A disappointing blow was administered to Jack Grealish at the conclusion of his most recent season with Manchester City.
Despite starting only 10 of the 20 Premier League games in which he appeared during the previous campaign, the winger was excluded from the final England squad for the 2024 European Championship.
The City star was one of the seven players that Gareth Southgate rejected from the final squad, despite the fact that he was included in the initial 33-man squad and even provided an assist in a 3-0 friendly victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina prior to the tournament.
The following competitors were also eliminated: Jarrad Branthwaite and James Maddison.

This is not the first time Agbonlahor has expressed his opinion on Grealish’s exclusion from the England squad. He expressed his surprise at Southgate’s decision earlier this month.
The 28-year-old has previously demonstrated his fondness for celebrating, as evidenced by his enthusiastic celebration of City’s Treble victory. However, we believe that the England manager should prioritize footballing factors when selecting his squad, rather than the off-field activities of specific players.
