English former Pundit Rio Ferdinand explains who is a better striker between Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero and the Brazilian former footballer Ronaldo Nazario

Rio Ferdinand talked about which scorer was tougher to play against: Ronaldo Nazario or Sergio Aguero.

In January, Ferdinand said that Aguero was one of the hardest players he ever played against. He said that he always felt like he had to be at his best when he played against someone of Aguero’s caliber.

That being said, Ronaldo Nazario made an amazing hat-trick against Rio Ferdinand’s Manchester United team in the Champions League in 2003.

Rio Ferdinand tells us which striker is harder to protect against: Diego Ronaldo, Nazario, or Aguero
The Brazilian striker had one of the best games of any scorer in recent memory, which helped Real Madrid make it to the Champion’s League semifinals.

But Aguero, like the World Cup winner, was short, quick, skilled, and a deadly scorer.

Because of this, Ferdinand would have had to beat both of these great goal makers.

But Rio Ferdinand picked Ronaldo Nazario because he thought he would be a tougher scorer to play against than Sergio Aguero.

He told GOAL that if they asked him to choose between the two South American players, he would pick Ronaldo Nazario (R9).

The English player thought that, besides the Manchester City star, the Ballon d’Or winner was tougher than other greats like Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, and Luis Suarez.

Sergio Aguero wouldn’t be shocked if his team was picked.
We don’t think it’s a surprise that Rio Ferdinand thinks Ronaldo Nazario is a tougher opponent than Sergio Aguero, even though Aguero was a great player.

If he hadn’t been hurt, the former forward might have been seen as one of the best players of all time, along with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona, and Pele.

But the fact that Aguero is even being talked about in this way shows how important he was while wearing a Manchester City shirt.

Several other center backs who played against the Argentine when he was at his best would have had some of the toughest games of their lives.
