A lot of people think Brendan Rodgers will leave Celtic before the end of September. West Ham United is one of those teams.

Even worse for West Ham, their fans are already unhappy with their new boss, Julen Lopetegui, because of how badly they started the season.

The Hammers lost 3-0 to Chelsea at home on Saturday. It was their third straight loss at home, which has never happened before in their history.

That’s what happens when you try to fire David Moyes, who used to play for Celtic, even though he won you a prize for the first time in decades.

And because Lopetegui got off to a rough start, Rodgers’ name came up. He won the double when he came back to Celtic last season.

Aside from the amazing return of the Irishman, Celtic are also flying this season, and everyone is more excited than ever.

Celtic hasn’t done well in Europe in recent years, but many people think they can make it to the next round of the Champions League this year.

Even though Celtic is a bigger club than West Ham, Chris Sutton responded quickly when a West Ham fan suggested Rodgers take the job at the London Stadium.

First, he reminded everyone that Rodgers plays for a “huge club north of the border.” Then, he told 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport, he was blunt and said, “I wouldn’t want to downgrade.”

Rodgers has already done this wrong with Leicester City, and he is very aware that he will not do it again.

The West Ham fan said, “I’m going to give him (Julen Lopetegui) until Christmas.” “Bernie Rodgers is another name that comes to mind. Based on the work he has done, I think he would have done a good job.”

A quick answer from Sutton: “He is at a big club north of the border.” Okay, let’s go. Even if the money was good, he wouldn’t want to move down from Celtic to West Ham.

No one is surprised that Celtic is cruising past everyone else. Many people think they will win more than one trophy this season; it’s just a matter of how many.

But the one that Celtic fans are most excited about is making it to the next round of the Champions League.

Rodgers’ team has had a great start in Europe, and now they have to play Borussia Dortmund in a very exciting match.

It would be better to do that than to try to get West Ham into the Europa Conference League or, in this case, out of the Premier League elimination zone.
