The Ghanaian player has had a tough season with injuries. He has missed 143 days of play for Arsenal because of problems with his groin and hamstring.
Romeo said on the YouTube show JD Football Show, “There is a good chance they will bring in a new midfielder, Thomas will leave.”
The 30-year-old midfielder was first signed by the Gunners from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2020, after paying his £45m (€52.8m) release clause. Arsenal fans were thrilled at the time.
At first, he was a big surprise for Mikel Arteta’s team and a much-needed addition after finishing eighth in the Premier League. But things seem to have changed, and many fans now want to see him leave.
