In a recent interview, Barcelona forward Joao Felix talked about how much he admires the team and how he thinks he has the ability to win the Ballon d’Or one day.
Felix has made it clear that he wants to play for Barcelona again next year. That being said, he also said that the choice isn’t just up to him; it depends on what the clubs agree to.
Even so, the forward didn’t hold back when he wanted to show his love for Barcelona again.
The Portuguese forward told The Nude Project in an honest interview that Barcelona has been his favorite team since he was a child and that he really wants to keep playing there.
But he also knew that his future at Barcelona depended on things he couldn’t change.
SPORT said that the Portuguese player said, “I love Barcelona and I want to stay.”
“I’m just borrowing money, so it won’t be up to me.” I’ve always said that I love Barcelona and that it’s the club where I spent my childhood. I want to stay. We will see what can happen and see what else comes up, he said.
Felix gave up a lot.
Felix said that he had to give up a lot in order to join Barcelona. He doesn’t feel bad about these choices because playing for Barcelona has been his dream since he was a kid.
Lots of things had to go so I could come here, but I’m glad I did. One of my childhood dreams has come true.
While talking about his goals, Felix was sure that he had the skills to win the Ballon d’Or one day.
“One day I’ll be able to win the Ballon d’Or.”
He did say, though, that Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe are the top candidates for this year’s award.
Simeone lost to Xavi
Felix also talked about the differences between Xavi and Diego Simeone, making it clear that he liked the former Barcelona coach more.
Speaking about Xavi’s great personal traits, he said, “They are different. I think Xavi is closer to people, he has more of a human side, and he cares a little more about the players.”
“That’s the difference: they’re both passionate.” Xavi is better at dealing with people than I am.
