that he has “a new project on the horizon” following his resignation as manager of Al Qabila, a club in the United Arab Emirates Second Division. The Dubai-based club was established in October 2023, and Taylor, a former Magpies player, was appointed as their inaugural manager. They launched their inaugural campaign in the third division of the game in the Gulf state.

 

 

 

 

Taylor continued to impress in the dugout as he guided an Al Qabila side that included former United striker Papiss Cisse to consecutive promotions, following his two promotions during his 18-month reign at Gulf United. The former Magpies academy product, who made over 260 appearances during a 13-year tenure in the first team at St James Park,
