A worldwide football star Another record was broken by Cristiano Ronaldo, who became the fastest person to ever get 16 million YouTube followers.
Ronaldo’s YouTube channel was announced on Wednesday around 2 p.m., and in a stunning display of how famous he is around the world, he reached 10 million subscribers in less than 12 hours. It took popular YouTuber MrBeast 132 days to reach that point.
According to PUNCH Online, Ronaldo’s YouTube account had 16 million subscribers by Thursday. He jokes that he calls them “SIUUUbscribers” because of his famous “Siuuuu” goal celebration.
With his quick rise on YouTube, Ronaldo has become one of the most popular people on social media around the world.
His huge fan base isn’t just on YouTube—he has 636 million friends on Instagram, 107 million on Facebook, and 112.6 million on X (formerly Twitter), which shows how well-known he is online.
