“Glorious” – Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe delivers a strong message to Manchester United after FA Cup final win against Manchester City

Following Manchester United’s win over Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, Sir Jim Ratcliffe spoke highly of the team.

United won 2-1 at Wembley thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. This was Erik ten Hag’s second trophy as boss of the club in as many years.

Before the game, a lot of people were talking about the Dutchman’s future. He is expected to leave the club, even though they beat City, but if he does leave in the next few days, it will be after a great win.

After buying a 27.7% stake in United, Ratcliffe has made a lot of changes, and Ten Hag is leaving will make those changes even bigger. When asked directly if the 54-year-old United manager would be staying, the INEOS chief refused to speak on the matter.

The odds were not in Manchester United’s favor today, but they played with skill and dedication and beat one of the best teams in football. Everyone is proud of the players and the staff who work hard to help them.

“If they don’t want me anymore, I go somewhere else and win trophies; that’s what I’ve done my whole career,” Ten Hag said when asked about his own plans for the future.

“I’m only working on getting my team ready and improving them.” I’m working on this project. I can say it was a mess when I came in. We’re feeling better now. Our current location is not desirable.
