Green Brigade break silence with powerful message over Celtic Park ban

Green Brigade fear long-term Celtic Park ban as tensions continue 🍀⚠️

Members of the Green Brigade supporters group have admitted they now expect their exclusion from Celtic Park to continue for the foreseeable future.

The ultras group has been barred from attending matches since November, following an incident during a Premiership clash with Falkirk the month prior.

Optimism fades despite club signals

Earlier this month, interim chairman Brian Wilson suggested there was hope of resolving the situation. However, a Green Brigade member has now revealed that such optimism is not shared within the group.

Speaking in a recent interview, member Martin indicated that discussions with the club have not been encouraging, with concerns that the ban may remain in place regardless of ongoing talks.

He suggested that while the group believes its demands are reasonable, feedback from within the club has not been positive, raising doubts about any imminent breakthrough.

Growing sense of inevitability

Martin admitted that, while he had initially remained hopeful of a resolution, recent developments have made him increasingly pessimistic.

He explained that some within the group had long believed the situation was heading toward a prolonged ban, and those fears now appear to be materialising.

Return to North Curve looks unlikely

The prospect of a return to the North Curve before the end of the season is now fading. While not completely ruling it out, Martin acknowledged that each passing day makes a comeback feel less likely.

He ultimately warned that the group could be absent from Celtic Park for a significant period — a situation he described as disappointing but beyond their control.
