Also, scoring against Rangers in a Glasgow Derby will be on the list of goals for any young Celtic player who wants to play for the first team at Parkhead.

But to do it against your foes in the last second of the Scottish Cup final? That sounds like something out of a fairy tale. Fans like me and thousands of others can only dream of it.

Except for one. Adam Idah did it on Saturday afternoon with a goal that won the win for Hampden and gave Paradise two goals.

Idah: The “incredible feeling” of winning the Scottish Cup

For many young Celtic fans who have grown up following the team, scoring for them at any time in the green and white hoops is their dream.
He came to the club on loan from the Republic of Ireland in January and became a fan favorite right away.

Idah has scored a lot of important goals in his short time at the club, but his eighth goal of the season at Hampden may be the most meaningful.

The Irish player said it was “hard to put into words” how it felt to score the winning goal against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.

“It’s hard to put into words,” Idah said on the Scottish Football App. This is amazing. How great it would be to finish the game that way, and what a thrill it would be to win the cup in the last minute of the game as a Celtic fan.

“Once I scored, I didn’t think about anything else.” I only wanted to cheer and hear the referee’s whistle.

“After the last game at Ibrox, I thought I had sealed the deal, but it turned out that I didn’t.”

“But I have things to do today, so it’s crazy.”

And now that another great Celtic season is over, everyone will be talking about Idah and his future with Celtic.

Should Rodgers offer the same amount that Norwich City wants for the 23-year-old striker? It seems like a no-brainer to me.

It looks like the Celtic boss agrees. We should hope that the deal goes through quickly so that Idah can wear the Hoops all the time starting next season.
