Greg Taylor had two reasons to recall Celtic’s victory over Kilmarnock yesterday.

Initially, the Celtic defender was selected over Jeffrey Schlupp and was in exceptional form as he assisted Celtic in routing Kilmarnock in the 5-1 victory at Parkhead.

Taylor was Celtic’s man of the match and performed exceptionally well during the victory; however, he was unexpectedly unavailable to accept his post-match award.

However, the Celtic defender did not consider that the most significant moment of the game. Taylor presented his infant daughter to the Parkhead support, a moment that he struggled to articulate.

The majority of Taylor’s time has been spent on the bench since Schlupp’s arrival. However, the Scotland defender was named to the Celtic starting XI against Kilmarnock by Rodgers, which was another significant factor in the fullback’s emotional experience.

Taylor stated, “It is difficult to articulate the events of today.” Dear Ruvie Taylor, I have an immense amount of affection for you.

Taylor has yet to execute a contract that is set to expire at the conclusion of the season; however, it appears that he may depart Celtic at that time.

A message is sent to Greg Taylor by Jeffrey Schlupp, Joe Hart, and other Celtic luminaries.
Taylor introduced his daughter to the Celtic family with pride, and a number of Celtic luminaries responded to the post on Instagram by leaving a message for him.

Joe Hart expressed his admiration for the event by emojiing a green heart and stating, “Magical.” Schlupp responded with two emojis, one of a smiling visage with hearts and raised hands.

Adam Idah expressed his affection for the individual, stating, “I love it.” “Top man” was even referenced by Luis Palma.

Taylor, the Celtic defender, has received a plethora of emoticons and likes from his teammates, including Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate.

Taylor shared images of his newborn daughter, Ruvie, on Instagram, as he introduced her to a crowded Celtic Park while she was dressed in the green and white Hoops.
