When Hearts travelled to Ibrox in September, the Premiership landscape looked very different. Russell Martin was still in charge of Rangers and Brendan Rodgers remained at Celtic.
What hadn’t changed, however, was Hearts’ rise to the summit after claiming their first win at Ibrox in 18 attempts since 2014.
Lawrence Shankland opened the scoring after being slipped through by Claudio Braga, despite Rangers’ protests over a possible handball in the build-up. Shankland later sealed the 2-0 victory, converting the rebound after his penalty was saved by Jack Butland.
