Russell Martin’s team move into the Europa League league phase after falling short in Champions League qualifying.
By reaching this stage, Rangers are guaranteed a €4.31m (£3.6m) participation fee from UEFA, made up of a €4.14m initial payment plus a €170k balance. Additional prize money is on offer for results — €450k (£392k) for a win and €150k (£130k) for a draw. They are also assured a minimum of €75k (£65k) from the league phase itself.
At the end of the eight group fixtures, clubs are awarded prize money based on their league position. The bottom side will receive €75k (£65k), with higher finishes bringing in more. Teams finishing in the top eight progress directly to the round of 16 and collect an extra €600k (£523k), while those ranked ninth to 16th earn an extra €300k (£261k).
