Kelechi Iheanacho has joined the Celtic squad traveling for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash with Feyenoord. The forward trained with the team on Wednesday for the first time since picking up a hamstring injury against Sturm Graz last month.
The 29-year-old has been sidelined for Celtic’s last six matches in all competitions. Now, he is poised to make his debut under interim boss Martin O’Neill. Iheanacho has already scored three goals in eight outings for the Scottish champions.
He signed for Celtic on a free transfer at the end of September.
