Providing an update on the triple injury is Eddie Howe.
In an interview with The Gazette, Howe provided an explanation for his substitutes of Joelinton, Tonali, and Schar during the second half of the match against Liverpool. He stated, “They are genuine injuries.” In the middle of the game, they have been taken out of the game, which would be a significant setback for us.

“To tell you the truth, Joey does not appear to be in good shape, especially considering that the signal was so early when he went down. It’s clear that Sandro is not in excellent shape.

Even though he was not operating effectively, he desired to continue working. It should come as no surprise that we lose Fabian on account of a concussion and Anthony due to suspension.

Joelinton’s cheery post on many social media platforms
During his social media activities following Newcastle’s loss, Joelinton did not mention his injury at any point. Alongside Bruno Guimaraes, the 29-year-old player has been chosen to play for Brazil’s national team in the World Cup Qualifiers that will take place in the month of January. The matches will be against Chile and Bolivia.

In an Instagram post, Joelinton expressed his sentiments by saying, “It will always be a pleasure to be called up to wear the Brazilian national team shirt.”

Joelinton wrote the following in reference to the encounter against Liverpool: “Proud to be a part of this team.” Many thanks, Geordies, for your continued support.

Although it is anticipated that his ailment will be sufficient to prevent him from playing in Newcastle’s next match and the forthcoming international break, the fact that he has refrained from mentioning his condition and has maintained a positive attitude in his postings is a strong indication that his injury is not significant.

A source who is very close to the player has stated that this is the case.

Providing an update on the injury status of Joelinton’s wife
In a later post, Joelinton’s wife, Thays Gondim, took to Instagram to deliver the most insightful post-match injury update that has been provided up to this point.

Joelinton was reportedly forced to withdraw from the national team squad owing to an injury, according to a claim made by Gondim on Instagram.

According to what she posted, “[Joelinton] is not participating in the Brazilian national team due to an injury.” “An injury that occurred after a fantastic match, involving a player who is dedicated to his club’s jersey,”

Were you making a sly reference to Alexander Isak, who was not present?

The message proceeded by saying, “He will return even more powerful!” For the Brazilian national team and for Newcastle, because the plans that God has for us are more important than our own! Sincere gratitude for all of your assistance.

“I want to reply to everyone collectively that [the injury] is not something significant! In no way does it call for surgical intervention! An injury to his muscle, and he will be fully recovered in a few days; however, sadly, he will not be able to go and represent the Brazilian National Team!
