Marchand disclosed to ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski that he did not anticipate that his final game as a Bruin would be his final game with the Original Six club.

Marchand was transferred to Florida three days following the matchup against Nashville, and he could have played one final game as a Bruin in Boston if he had not sustained an injury.
