“I will like to see him play at Manchester City” – Tottenham Hotspur F.C. 26-year-old Defender Cristian Romero latest transfer decision
This summer, Pep Guardiola will be very worried as his players leave to play for their countries at Euro 2024 and Copa America.
There are 14 more Manchester City players participating in the Euros than at any other club. This makes it more likely that someone will get hurt before the new Premier League season starts.
The Sky Blues will be trying to protect their Premier League title once more, this time against Arsenal and Liverpool. They want to win the title for the fifth straight season.
A lot of trade talk will happen before that, and we’ve put together some of it below.
Cristian Romero is asked to move.
Sergio Vazquez, a former center back for Argentina, has said that he wants Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristiano Romero to join City.
When Romero first joined the Lilywhites, it was on loan for the 2021/22 season. After a good spell, he was brought on permanently.
As a member of the Argentina team that won the 2022 World Cup, his skills were on full display, and he is likely to keep getting better as a player.
He told La Oral Deportiva through El Grafico, “He is the best number two in the history of Argentine football.” Vazquez was making the case for a move to City.
“We’re with someone who can play, who can burst it, who has presence, and who hits you if he has to.” He’s the kind of kid who makes you feel good when the ball comes to him.
“I’d like to see him play for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.” We found a pair that will be important for ten years. Cuti and (Lisandro) Martínez both have angled controls that let them cut down on the time it takes to give a pass.
Plan by Perrone
Maximo Perrone, a midfielder for City, has said that he plans to be moved out again next season.
The City bought the Argentine from Vélez Sarsfield in 2023. He played last season in La Liga with Las Palmas and helped the team stay in the top division. He first played for the Sky Blues in February 2023, and that’s the only time he’s been there.
Perrone told Marca, “We agreed that there will be one more transfer.” This means that he will be moving away for a short time again. To keep getting used to things, I think one more year in La Liga would be best.
The 21-year-old player said, “I think you have to look at the options” when asked if he planned to go back to Las Palmas. It’s still very early. You need to stay calm and pick the best choice.
It was my goal to play my first season in Europe, and I think it’s been great. I’ve played about 30 games and begun most of them. From the start, I knew it was going to happen and that I would have to fight to make it happen. In the end, I was able to play a lot. That’s what I’ll do.
