Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho talked about how he liked the club’s trip to the United States before the season started.
After coming back to the Manchester United first team this summer, Jadon Sancho says he is glad to be back on the field.
In the 2-0 win over Rangers at Murrayfield Stadium last month, Sancho played for United for the first time in almost a year.
He went on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second part of last season after getting into a fight with Erik ten Hag. He said that the United boss was lying when he said that he wasn’t with the team when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Ten Hag and Sancho talked about it three weeks ago, and Sancho was one of the 29 players who went to the United States for the pre-season trip. He came on at halftime in the game against Arsenal and started the game against Real Betis that they won 3-2.
No one knows for sure if the 24-year-old will still play for United after the transfer window closes, but Sancho is glad to be back on the field.
When asked how he liked the pre-season tour, he said, “It’s been nice. I’ve been enjoying the weather and being back with the guys. It’s been good.” I love how things are set up in America.
“Of course, I come to America when I have time off.” It’s nice to be back because this is one of the places I train before the season starts. It’s not my home, but it is a nice place to stay.
