James Trafford: ‘Agreed terms’ have apparently been reached between Manchester United and Newcastle United on a possible transfer to St. James’ Park.Later this summer, James Trafford might be moving on again after only one season with Burnley at Turf Moor.

Reports say that Newcastle United and Manchester United have “agreed terms” about a possible move to St. James’ Park. However, Burnley and Newcastle United are now negotiating a fee for the England Under-21 player. When Trafford went from Manchester City to Turf Moor last summer, he became number one right away under Vincent Kompany in his first Premier League season.

Trafford got a lot of experience as a first-choice Premier League goalkeeper during his one season with the Clarets, even though Arijanet Muric beat him for the starting spot near the end of the season. This experience will help him if he moves to St. James’ Park this summer. Before, the 21-year-old said that he thought he belonged in the Premier League and told the Daily Mail that he wanted to play at the top level of football in both England and other countries.

Trafford told the Daily Mail before he moved to Turf Moor last summer, “My long-term goal is to play in the Champions League and for England.” “For England’s top four teams to play in the Champions League.” At that level, I think I will be able to play for Man City or any other big club. If given the chance, I’d be able to do well.

According to Trafford, “the most important thing for goalies is to play, and it’s really hard if you’re not playing.” I’m going to play every week next season. There is no way I can sit on the bench.

Nick Pope will probably be Trafford’s assistant if he does move to Tyneside this summer. Eddie Howe’s first pick for the new season will be Pope, who missed almost the whole second half of the season last year with a dislocated shoulder.

Martin Dubravka, not Pope, was put in charge of the first team while Pope was hurt last season. However, the Slovakian player has recently been linked with a move away from Newcastle United this summer. Celtic and teams in Saudi Arabia are said to be interested.
