The transfer window has entered its final week, and clubs across Yorkshire are still looking to finalise key pieces of business.
Leeds United and Rotherham United both remain in the market for a striker, Hull City are close to wrapping up a move for Paddy McNair, and Barry Bannan has already bid farewell to Sheffield Wednesday.
However, several moves have already been completed before the 7pm deadline on February 2.
Arrivals: Charlie Connell joined from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee, while Eoghan O’Connell came in as a free agent. Scott Banks arrived on loan from St Pauli, Owen Goodman joined on loan from Crystal Palace, and Corey O’Keefe returned from his loan spell at Stockport County.
Departures: Neil Farrugia moved to Dundee United and Bayley McCann signed for Doncaster Rovers, with fees undisclosed in both cases. Kacper Lopata (Walsall), Jon Russell (Mansfield Town) and Jackson Smith (Rochdale) all left on loan. Murphy Cooper’s temporary spell ended before he joined Sheffield Wednesday, while Caylan Vickers went back to Brighton and Hove Albion and Jake Rooney returned to Derby County following the conclusion of their loans.
Bradford City have also strengthened, bringing in Harrison Ashby and Joe White on loan from Newcastle United, along with Louie Sibley, who joins on loan from Oxford United.
