Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali has once again been linked with a potential transfer to Juventus, according to reports from Italy.
Despite thriving under Eddie Howe over the past year, speculation surrounding Tonali’s possible return to Serie A continues to circulate.
The Italian international joined Newcastle from AC Milan in 2023 for £55 million and, after serving a ten-month suspension from football, has excelled in the deep midfield role. Forming a formidable partnership with Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, Tonali has become a key figure in what many regard as one of the Premier League’s strongest midfields.
Having arrived in England with a strong reputation from his time at the San Siro, Tonali has elevated his performances further, with Paul Scholes recently naming him the Premier League’s best midfielder. Given his immense quality, he is seen as capable of playing for any top club—but Italian outlets remain convinced that a move back home to join Juventus could be on the horizon.
