The US club, managed by former Celtic coach Ronny Delia, has recently been associated with a transfer for the 29-year-old, who is contracted until 2027.

 

 

 

 

A report asserting that Atlanta had “acquired” Kyogo was published on the MLS website on Wednesday but was promptly retracted. Simultaneously, Atlanta announced the signing of former Japan youth international Cayman Togashi. In a statement released to the Press Association,

 

 

 

 

MLS acknowledged that they “erroneously published an article identifying the incorrect player as having signed with an MLS club”. The article was promptly retracted and amended. MLS expresses its genuine regrets to the affected parties.
