Latest Celtic Fc news: Director of football Robbie Savage reveals who will win the Scottish Premiership title after watching Rangers vs Celtic FC last match
The Celtic boss talked about the story that was going around a few times. Even though the Hoops had already beaten Rangers twice, it looked like some parts of the media had given up on Celtic’s chances of keeping the title.
Now that they’ve taken a point from Ibrox in a game that Rangers were favored to win, it looks like the story may be changing after Robbie Savage shocked Chris Sutton last night with a claim to the title. When talking about Celtic and Rangers, the two former pros always have little things to say about each other. Yesterday’s draw led to this conversation on the BBC 606 Phone In:
“Rangers didn’t get going until the second half,” said Sutton. After Rangers scores, Adam Idah comes on for a minute.
“I can’t believe the stadium is so high and then the equalizer.” For whom is it a better point?”
“Rangers have to go to Celtic, haven’t they?” asked Savage.
Savage: “Favorite Celtic team.”
Sutton asked, “Do you make Celtic favorites?”
Savage: “Yes, I do.”
Rangers got a chance in the second half that VAR made them pay for, and I think Celtic would have won yesterday at Ibrox.
Rangers play Dundee on Wednesday night, so the league table stays the same. Celtic are still on top.
But Celtic only have one more game left before the break, and as Savage says, that game will be at Celtic Park against Rangers.
